We provide medical assessment and documentation for workplace injuries accepted or reported under WorkSafeBC, with a focus on musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries, including strains and sprains.
This includes initial assessment, follow-up care, and return-to-work planning.
Scope of Service
We assess and manage:

Neck, back, and shoulder injuries

Knee, hip, and joint soft tissue injuries

Workplace-related soft tissue pain and dysfunction

WorkSafeBC Form 8 and Form 11 completion

Return-to-work planning

Process
1. Initial Assessment
A detailed history and physical examination are performed to assess the nature and severity of the injury.
2. Documentation
WorkSafeBC forms are completed based on clinical findings and functional assessment.
3. Treatment Plan
Management may include:

Analgesia

Physiotherapy referral

Home exercise program

Further investigations if clinically indicated
4. Follow-Up Care
Follow-up visits are used to reassess function, recovery progress, and work capacity.

Clinical Considerations
Care is focused on functional recovery from soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries.
Modified duties may be recommended during the recovery phase where appropriate.
Fees
Most WorkSafeBC-covered injury assessments are billed directly to WSBC once a claim is accepted.
